Programme
The Programme for the Latin America Cross Border Business Summit 2019 begins on Thursday evening 31st January 2019 with the welcome reception and dinner.
The first event on Friday 1st February is an introduction to our member firm for South Florida, SMGQ Law, their practices and lawyers with a visit to their offices.
This is followed at 2.30 pm by the Client Panel Presentation and Interactive Discussion on “Doing Business in Latin America” and “Miami as a Gateway to Latin America” at the Hotel Colonnade.
Delegates from Argentina,
Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Peru, Venezuela and from
Miami will discuss doing business in their respective countries and regions and
how companies can capitalize upon increased cross-border opportunities with
Latin America.
In addition to providing the economic outlook for 2019 and beyond, panelists will address regional and industry sector opportunities and business considerations involved in operating and investing in their countries from corporate, finance and tax; to labor and employment; immigration; construction; environmental; risk management and more.
After the Panel Presentation Delegates and Clients can take advantage of our Client Networking Reception at the Hotel Colonnade from 5.30 – 7.00 pm
Evening dinner for Delegates only will
take place at an outside restaurant.
The half day business meeting on Saturday will be focused on defining how to further develop Latin American cross-border opportunities, as well as how Members can effectively partner and go-to-market together.
The event closes after lunch on Saturday 2nd February
