Visa information
Delegates
from all countries will require a visa to enter India.
An e-visa is simple to obtain and is valid for 60 days. Delegates must apply for the visa a minimum of 5 days before date of arrival but it is strongly advised to apply earlier.

Note: If delegates or their spouses, parents, or grandparents were born in Pakistan or ever held Pakistani nationality, they are not eligible for an Indian e-Visa. You must apply for a traditional visa.
On arrival at the airport take your visa the e-visa control desk (before the passport control) and your passport will be stamped and you can move on to Baggage Reclaim.
Foreign travellers are also required to complete a Landing Form on arrival.

the baggage reclaim area and come through the arrivals doors into the airport,
Murali & Co representatives will be there to welcome you. They will meet you and take you to your taxi
to drive to the hotel. The cost of the
taxi and toll is included in the delegate fee.

Hotel to airport
On departure, arrange with the hotel for a driver to
take you to the airport the cost will be INR2700 plus taxes including toll fee.
Registration
Registration for the AGM and the Asia Pacific Meeting opens at 8.00 am at the Shagri-La Hotel on Wednesday morning on the 2nd Floor outside the conference rooms.

Licensed taxis can be recognized by the white and yellow emblem.
Travellers are advised to avoid unlicensed taxis.

Currency
The currency in Bangalore is the INDIAN RUPEE (INR).
Exchange
For those of you who have been unable to obtain INR before arriving in Bangalore there is an ATM and a currency exchange in the baggage reclaim area before leaving through the arrivals exit.
If you need to obtain currency immediately on arrival we recommend you obtain it there before leaving the Baggage Reclaim/Arrivals Hall.
Murali & Co have also offered to exchange currency for delegates where they have not obtained currency before arrival. They will accept USD or GBP.
ATMs are widely available and currency exchanges can be conducted at the hotel desk or at local banks.
All major credit cards are accepted in most hotels, shops, taxis and restaurants.
Climate
The average temperatures in Bangalore in April - May ranges between 25 degrees and to a maximum of 35 degrees.

Tipping
Tipping is not customary in Bangalore. However, it is appreciated if you round up the bill or leave the change, if you were happy with the service at the restaurant, bar or in the taxi.

Language
